Liturgy Of The Word With Children

The next Children’s Liturgy is scheduled for this Sunday, January 29 and again on Sunday, February 5th. All students in grades 1-5 are encouraged to attend.

Sacrament Of Reconciliation – Grades 2 & Faith Finders I Monday, February 6th – 3:45PM

World Marriage Day

If your wedding anniversary year ends with a 2 or a 7 and you would like to celebrate your anniversary by renewing your marriage vows at Mass, please let us know.  We need the date and Church of Marriage.  In addition any couple getting married here in 2012 who would like to have their engagement blessed that day as well, please let us know.  We ask that you let us know by the very latest: Feb.1, 2012!

The Knights Of Columbus Council # 1738 Presents The Godfather’s Murder Mystery Dinner Show

The Dinner Show will be held on Saturday, February, 2012 at 1047 Park Ave., Cranston, RI 401-944-9700.  Cocktails at 6pm and the Dinner and Show at 7pm.  Music and dancing will follow after the Show.  Tickets are $35.00 per person and can be purchased in advance; deadline to purchase tickets is January 31, 2012. The proceeds are to benefit the Soldiers Fund.

This weekend, we will take up a second Collection for the Church in Latin America. Many unique challenges face the Church in that region. A lack of priests and trained lay ministers, high emigration rates, and the alarming pace at which parishioners are leaving the faith make it difficult for the region's Church to provide for the faithful. It is more important than ever that we keep faith with the Church in Latin America and the Caribbean. Please give generously in next week's Collection.

36th Annual Sports Collectors Show

Mark your calendars! The 36th Annual Cranston Sports Collectors Show will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the West Valley Inn, 4 Blossom St., West Warwick, RI.  The show is sponsored by the St. Joseph Men’s Guild of Immaculate Conception Church and is the oldest of its kind in New England.

Each year over 1800 dealers, collectors and sports fans attend the show, which has truly become a New England Tradition.  The show is and has always been an old-tradition, catering to dealers and collectors from all over the country.  The show will begin at 8:30AM and run until 4PM and admission is only $3.00 per person.

Bishop Gelineau 40th Anniversary Of His Episcopal Ordination

Forty years ago, Bishop Gelineau was ordained Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence.  The Diocese invites you to join the Bishop, priests, religious and laity of the local Catholic community in celebrating this blessed occasion with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 1:00PM in the Cathedral of SS.
